Silver Lake Band Camp is located between South Lake Tahoe and Fallen Leaf Lake. Since 1971, our camp has offered a fun and supportive space for junior high and high school musicians to improve their skills and enjoy the outdoors.
Campers rehearse with top band directors, explore electives, and spend evenings around the campfire with new friends.
What Makes SLBC Special
Silver Lake Band Camp is more than a week in the mountains — it’s a place where musicians find community, grow in confidence, and create memories that stay with them long after the summer ends. Our program blends music, nature, and connection in a way that helps campers feel supported, inspired, and excited to learn. Through shared experiences, meaningful routines, and a warm camp culture, campers discover new skills, new friendships, and new parts of themselves.
