Here is a list of things that counselors have forgotten in the past. If you remember these items your counseling experience will be much more pleasurable.

  • Chap stick (or 3 or 4)
  • Towel
  • Water bottle
  • Flashlight/headlamp
  • Shower shoes
  • Your instrument
  • Sleeping bag
  • Pillow
  • Warm clothes
  • Wrist watch that does not need to be charged
  • Walkie-talkies (If you have them, don’t worry about buying new ones if you don’t)
